Westlife will screen their concert at Wembley Stadium in Dublin cinemas

Westlife will screen their concert at Wembley Stadium in Dublin cinemas when they take to the London stage on Saturday August 6.

Nicky, Shane, Kian and Mark will be performing to sold-out audiences for the very first time as part of their The Wild Dreams Tour.

The show promises to bring fans some of the band’s greatest hits of the past two decades. The concert will start at 8.30pm and will be shown live at [email protected] cinemas in Dublin.

[email protected] has cinemas in Dundrum and Swords.

The guys are due to play at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on July 8 and 9, having announced the tour last year at a press conference there.

Speaking when announcing the tour, band member Shane Filan promised the shows would be “our biggest and best show ever”.

He said: “It’s going to take you through 22 years of Westlife. It’s going to be full of all our hits, but we want to freshen it up and make it a really exciting show for families.

“A lot of different age groups attend these shows. We want kids to enjoy it and think the show is cool. We want to make it our biggest and best show ever.”

Bandmate Nicky Byrne added: “It’s a momentous occasion for all of us, not just necessarily the show but this morning, to be able to announce the show given what we’ve all been up to for the past two years. is feels so positive that we are moving forward and getting to a place, especially for the Irish music scene, where shows can return.

“We always try to give the show. This time it will be a bit more special because of what it represents.”
