Westlife star Nicky Byrne advises Last Singer Standing winner to win Eurovision title

NICKY Byrne tipped the winner of the Last Singer Standing to win the Eurovision title.

The Westlife star represented Ireland in the song contest in 2016 and now has another shot at Eurovision glory with Last Singer Standing winner Patrick O’Sullivan.

Nicky joined Danny O’Reilly of The Coronas and All TVvins musician Lar Kaye to write Patrick’s song titled One Night, One Kiss, One Promise.

Patrick will face six other singers and songwriters competing to represent Ireland at this year’s Eurovision in May.

The decision will be made on the Late Late Eurosong Show hosted by Ryan Tubridy on Friday February 4.

Nicky took to Instagram to tell his followers how “proud” he was of the song.

The Dubliner said: “A few months ago I was honored to have the opportunity to write with Danny O’Reilly and Lar kaye.. what came out of it was ‘One Night, One Kiss, One Promise”.

“Around the same time I hosted RTE Last Singers Standing where I met the very talented Patrick O’Sullivan who won the whole thing!

“Patrick recorded the song and I felt like everything was falling into place.

“I’m really proud of this song, I hope you like it and who knows… maybe it will make it to the Eurovision stage in Italy in May and bring the title back to its place !

The singer’s fans loved the song and rushed to the comments section to congratulate him.
