It comes after Nicky Byrne revealed he won’t be presenting Dancing With The Stars this year.

The singer explained that he is “stepping away” from the hit show as he will be back on the road with the band in early 2023.

Nicky, 43, confirmed: “Hi all, A little news from me. Unfortunately I will be refraining from hosting Dancing with the Stars on RTÉ.

“Westlife now has ten shows on our Wild Dreams Tour. We had two phenomenal nights at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, followed by a stunning show at Wembley Stadium and two absolutely sensational nights at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork.

“This tour now continues taking us around the world including five continents with over 60 shows through summer 2023.

“So with all of that in mind, I had to make some tough decisions. One of those is my future hosting of Dancing With The Stars on RTÉ – a show I’ve loved hosting from the very start. .

“I really enjoyed being a part of this show, full of glitz and glamor and of course being part of everyone’s winter TV viewing on Sunday nights.

“It’s been five brilliant seasons since our launch in 2017, working with the best crew in the world.

“I have smiled and laughed throughout these 59 shows so far and what a journey it has been. I take home the fondest memories.

“Thank you Amanda and Jennifer and of course Lottie for stepping in. Thank you RTÉ. Thank you to the amazing team at ShinAwiL.

“Thank you to Loraine, Brian, Arthur and Julian and all the professional dancers. Thank you to the hundreds of teams who made all these shows special.

“I wish the best to whoever replaces me. Don’t fall down the stairs at the start of the show!! You’re going to have a blast.”
