Westlife announces fourth show in Belfast due to ‘phenomenal demand’

Westlife have announced a fourth show at the SSE Arena in Belfast due to “phenomenal demand”.

Affirming their status as players capable of filling the 11,000-seat hall in Belfast at will, the Irish group’s last meeting will take place on December 18 this year and tickets will go on sale this Thursday at 9 am.

The band hold the record for the most shows played at the SSE with a staggering 65.

Seated tickets cost £95, £65 and £49 respectively, while general admission tickets cost £60.

As part of ‘The Wild Dreams’ tour, the latest show announcement means Westlife is now taking the stage in Belfast for four nights in a row from December 15-18.

Their next tour begins this summer and also includes a sold-out show at Wembley Stadium in London.

In a statement earlier this month, the group promised “massive celebration” after two years of the pandemic.

“We are planning some spectacular shows that will include all of our greatest hits and some special surprises,” they said.

Band members Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian have now sold over 55 million records worldwide and remain the only band to have seen their first seven singles enter the UK chart at No.1.
