Tyler Herro’s ‘Backstreet Boys’ outfit goes viral in dirty sneakers – Footwear News

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro may be missing the Eastern Conference Finals with a groin injury, but he continues to go viral for his drip on the court. While supporting his teammates from the sideline in Game 5 last night against the Boston Celtics, Herro donned an all-white outfit that quickly got the internet talking.

For the match, Herro wore a casual white button-up shirt with white beach shorts, donning a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses with light blue lenses for the ultimate ’90s vibes.

The 22-year-old NBA player teamed the look with a pair of white Golden Goose Stardan low-top sneakers with a black star logo. They’re described as “inspired by ’90s basketball shoes and with a slightly scuffed and dirty finish” by Nordstrom.com, priced at $575. To accentuate the kicks, Herro wore a pair of white tube socks with rust and green stripes, in keeping with the immaculate pattern.

The breezy look sparked polarizing reactions on Twitter, with some fans teasing the player for his unique sense of style. One edited photo of Herro went particularly viral, which featured a thin goatee to match his “south beach” see.

“Tyler Herro looks like the type of dude who starts talking about stocks and crypto while c***ing at a post-game,” a Twitter user commented.

Another Twitter user commented that Herro looked like the manager of a risque nightclub, while another basketball fan commented that Herro looked “ready to play with the Backstreet Boys during halftime”.

Herro is known for his eccentric style, often wearing neon colors, animal prints and patterned suits. In March, Herro launched a denim collab with Hudson, marking her first attempt in the fashion industry.

The Celtics won Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals 93-80 and currently lead the series 3-2.
