SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — Thousands of screaming fans welcomed the Backstreet Boys to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Saturday as part of the band’s DNA World Tour.
Although nearly 30 years have passed since BSB’s inception, the boy band that rose to fame in the 1990s is still fiercely adored by fans today.
Many onlookers sported vintage or new BSB merchandise throughout the venue on Saturday night, with some complementing their look with other distinct 90s fashions.
Attendees also expressed their love for the Backstreet Boys by singing along with just about every word of the band’s two-hour set.
In return, band members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson gave the crowd an enthusiastic performance that included all of their great hits.
From love songs like “I’ll Never Break Your Heart,” “As Long As You Love Me” and “Shape of My Heart” to pop radio favorites like “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely,” “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” and “I Want It That Way” – the Backstreet Boys delivered over 30 songs during the show, which was fully choreographed from start to finish.
The party atmosphere reached a new level when the guys appeared on stage in all-white outfits reminiscent of their Millennium album cover and sang “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
