The Backstreet Boys will release their very first Christmas album on October 14

Backstreet is back, OK! And just in time for Christmas.

The Backstreet Boys are ready to release their very first Christmas album titled A Very Clandestine Christmas October 14.

The five-member boy band consisting of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson made the announcement on July 7.

“We’ve wanted to do a Christmas album for almost 30 years now and we’re beyond thrilled that it’s finally happening,” Dorough said in a statement. “We had such a fun experience putting our BSB twist on some of our favorite Christmas classics and can’t wait to be a part of our fans’ holiday season.”

Three New Songs and Other Evergreen Christmas Classics

A Very Clandestine Christmas is the band’s first studio album in three years. The new album consists of three new tracks and a collection of Christmas classics.

Among his timeless classic tracks are “White Christmas”, “Silent Night”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. The three new songs the band recorded for the album include “Christmas in New York”, “Together” and “Happy Days”.

Exclusive versions of the album will also be released. These include a 15-track CD available through Target. The CD will contain the bonus tracks “Feliz Navidad” and “It’s Christmas Time Again”.

A limited edition red vinyl will also be available on the official Backstreet Boys store. A Very Clandestine Christmas was originally supposed to be released in 2021 but was postponed due to the pandemic.

In a statement released at the time, the band said, “We feel this is one of our finest creations to date and this creation deserves the best possible script and set up to succeed.”

One of the most acclaimed pop groups of the 1990s, the Backstreet Boys are currently touring North America as part of their DNA World Tour. The tour began in April 2022 with shows in Las Vegas and named after the album topped the band’s 2019 Billboard 200 chart. DNA.

On July 2, the quintet was joined by rapper Drake on stage during their performance in Toronto. The group introduced the multiple Grammy Award winner as the “sixth member.”

Together, they sang the Backstreet Boys’ 1999 hit “I Want It That Way,” which Drake called “one of the greatest songs in music history.”
