Put on your going out top, feed your Tamagotchi, and slide on some Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers because Backstreet is back — at least at the Riverbend Music Center.

Cincinnati may lay claim to one of the great boy bands of the late 90s/early 2000s like ours – hi, 98 degrees – but the fame of Nick Lachey and Co. is no match for it of five harmonizing Orlando idols.

The Backstreet Boys – aka Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson – are one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. And they bring their unique ~fashun~, facial hair and top Billboard hits in Cincinnati on the “DNA World Tour”.

The tour, which kicked off in Las Vegas, celebrates the band’s 2019 release, DNA. Along with the Grammy-nominated single “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”, the song proves fans “still want it that way” – it was the first Backstreet Boys song to hit the charts. Billboard Hot 100 in 10 years, according to the band, and “went straight to No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs and Global charts”.

In honor of the tour, the boys created a docuseries called Realization of the DNA tour to give fans a glimpse into the process of preparing for a global getaway. You can prepare for the Cincinnati gig by watching episodes — and practicing the choreography from the “Everybody” music video — on the Backstreet Boys YouTube channel.

The Backstreet Boys will perform July 26 at the Riverbend Music Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Opening by Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem. Info: riverbend.org.
