RTE Late Late Show: Westlife singer Mark Feehily set to reveal why he went to The Masked Singer

Westlife star Mark Feehily is set to explain how making The Masked Singer had a ‘profound effect’ on him.

The singer shocked fans when he was unveiled as RoboBunny on the hit ITV show.

Mark will join Ryan Tubridy this Friday night in the studio on the Late Late Show to talk about why he did the masked singer, how fatherhood changed his life and his excitement to return to the stage with Westlife this summer. He will also perform two special songs for the public.

Mark has previously explained that he “craved something different” vocally. “I wanted to do something different, outside of my comfort zone vocally,” he previously told the Jonathan Ross show.

Also on the show, as they prepare for the launch of the highly anticipated new drama Conversations with Friends, Oscar-nominated director Lenny Abrahamson and Cork-born star Alison Oliver will join Ryan to discuss how to bring Sally Rooney’s novel to life on the small screen.

There will be a special musical treat from three men who share the same birthday John Sheahan, Paul Brady and Mundy will play some of their greatest hits and share stories along the way.

And there will be a very special performance from composer RuthAnne Cunningham and some of The Late Late Toy Showkids, including Saoirse Ruane, as they prepare to make a very special announcement that has been in the works for some time.
