After a pandemic hiatus, Singapore will once again set the stage for an epic Formula 1 night race in 2022.

Along with the biggest racing stars and fastest cars on the planet ready to do battle in the city, the stage is also set for a blockbuster weekend of fun. Like previous years’ events, there will be a number of exciting performances and concerts throughout the race weekend. This year, fans will be able to see artists such as Marshmello, Westlife and Green Day headlining the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix.

Event organizers Singapore GP Pte Ltd have announced the first wave of acts that will contribute to a stellar entertainment program for the 2022 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix. This first announcement of acts from Padang Stage includes Marshmello , Westlife and Green Day to top off the scintillating action as F1 night racing gets back on track at Marina Bay Street Circuit from September 30 to October 2 for Singapore’s biggest party in three years.

Organizers say the final lineup will include more than 75 performances over the three-day event across eight Circuit Park stages, along with traveling performers and an array of exhibits and activities to captivate crowds. Grammy-nominated Marshmello is set to take the stage on September 30 with Westlife, one of the most successful boy bands of all time, headlining the festivities on October 1.

The honor of rocking the Padang stage in Zone 4 on race day for the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix goes to legendary American punk band Green Day. For fans, it’s a rare opportunity to see vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool, Green Day in action after the race.

Other acts will be unveiled in the coming weeks to complete the fantastic entertainment program for the return of Formula 1 to the streets of Singapore. Note, however, that the composition of the artists is subject to change.
