A live recording of Irish band Westlife’s first-ever performance at Wembley Stadium in London will be screened at select cinemas in the Golden Village (GV) from September 2-4.
Billed as their “biggest and most historic show” to date, the band performed at Wembley earlier this year in August as part of their Wild Dream Tour. The performance included some of the quartet’s most renowned songs, including Uptown Girl, You lift me up and fly without wings.
Since its inception in 1998, Westlife has released six platinum records in the UK, with 40 million albums sold and 55 million record sales worldwide.
Westlife will also perform live in Singapore during the Grand Prix 2022, which will be held from From September 30 to October 2. They last performed in Singapore in a sold-out show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium over a decade ago in 2010.
The Wild Dream Tour The recording will be screened at three different GV cinemas – VivoCity, Funan Gemini and Paya Lebar Duo Deluxe.
Tickets for the VivoCity show will cost $20 for public and $18 for GV members. Tickets for the Paya Lebar and Funan shows, however, only offer premium seating, which costs $24 for public and $22 for GV members.
