Everybody! Backstreet is back, OK! That’s right, the Backstreet Boys are coming to Rogers Place on August 26th, so you better start stretching those ligaments.

The Friday night summer gig comes with a flurry of newly announced dates for BSB, including a European leg of their DNA World Tour, which has been ongoing since 2019, when they played in Calgary and Edmonton.

Since forming the group 29 years ago in Orlando, Florida, the quintet of free-flowing songs and dances have sold more than 100 million records worldwide with 10 albums, reaching particular notoriety with Millennium in 1999 and Black & Blue in 2000. The best-selling boy band in history, certified sales put them just above Eric Clapton, just below Guns N’ Roses.

Still running with original members AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell, BSB hits Everybody, I Want It That Way and the rather thoughtful Larger Than Life were joined by the top 10 Billboard’s Don’t Go Breaking My Heart on the most recent album, DNA, which impressively debuted at No. 1 in 2019.

Canadian fans will also be happy to hear that Backstreet will also be heading to Saskatoon on August 27, in Winnipeg. August 29 and Ottawa September 1.

Starting at $64.50, tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show, August 26, Rogers Place will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com and ticketmaster.com. The Fan Club presale and bundle starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday, as does the official Platinum presale.
