Boyzone singer Ronan Keating is keeping his promise to his late mom as he’s honored with a doctorate

Boyzone’s Ronan Keating fulfilled his promise to his late mother by receiving a doctorate.

The Rollercoaster singer attended the ceremony with his wife Storm and children Missy and Jack.

The Open University honored Ronan with the doctorate to recognize his work in philanthropy and music.

He said, “I cannot explain my gratitude to @theopenuniversity for honoring me with a doctorate for my work in philanthropy and music. Humble is an understatement.

“What a day celebrating over 300 graduates and their hard work.

“So nice to have Storm, Jack and Missy by my side as well as my boyfriend and manager, Mark, who has always been there for me.

“Mom, I kept my promise X.”

Storm also congratulated her husband and shared a cute Instagram post of the couple kissing while Ronan showed off the doctorate.

The Aussie posted: “So proud of you @rokeating.

“#HonoraryDoctorate for your commitment and achievements in philanthropy and music #OUFamily @theopenuniversity.”

Daughter, Missy posted a hilarious video of her dad using the popular crying filter.

She said: “Massively proud @rokeating. Years of charity work recognized.”

Son, Jack also said, “Too proud.”

Ronan’s teammate Keith Duffy commented, “Well deserved. Congratulations, Dr RoRo.”

Natalie Imbruglia added: “Congratulations!!! Well deserved”.
